Second Transnational Project Meeting

The GROWTH project consortium gathered once again, this time in the vibrant city of Brussels, for the second Transnational Project Meeting (TPM). Hosted by Connect Your City on April 3-4, 2024, this meeting marked another milestone in the project’s journey to empower European youth through entrepreneurship. Building on the foundation established in the first TPM, the Brussels meeting focused on assessing progress, refining outputs, and setting clear priorities for the next phases.

Session Highlights

  • WP1: Project Management Overview
    Pro.m.e.t.eu.s provided a detailed progress report, covering budget updates, timesheets, and a review of the project timeline. This session ensured that all partners were aligned on administrative tasks and had a clear understanding of their responsibilities moving forward. A Q&A session followed, allowing partners to address any immediate concerns.
  • WP5: Dissemination Strategies
    Connect Your City led a session on dissemination activities, showcasing the progress of social media campaigns and the development of project social media accounts. Partners discussed strategies to expand the project’s online presence and enhance engagement with the target audience.
  • WP2: GROWTH Training Curricula and Handbook
    Innovation Hive presented an overview of the GROWTH Training Curricula and Handbook, while ESICA facilitated a peer review process. Discussions focused on translations and ensuring the resources were accessible and culturally relevant across all partner countries.
  • Youth Business Plan Piloting Session
    Connect Your City hosted a hands-on session to pilot youth business plan development. This practical workshop demonstrated how the GROWTH tools could be used to guide young people in creating actionable and innovative business plans.
  • WP3: Website and Gamified Platform Development
    Innovation Bee provided an update on the progress of the gamified platform and website development. Partners shared feedback on the platform’s design and functionality, emphasizing its potential to engage and educate young entrepreneurs.
  • WP3: Mentoring Program Implementation
    Balkan Bridge led a session on the mentoring program, showcasing its structure and initial feedback from pilot activities. The program’s personalized approach was praised for its potential to connect young entrepreneurs with experienced mentors, providing guidance and inspiration.
  • Quality Assurance and Monitoring
    Eurospeak Limited facilitated a session on monitoring and evaluating the project’s activities. Partners reviewed the quality assurance framework, discussed methodologies for data collection, and identified ways to enhance the evaluation process.
  • Project GANTT Chart and Next Steps
    The consortium reviewed the project’s GANTT chart, clarifying tasks, responsibilities, and deadlines for the upcoming months. This session ensured that all partners were aligned and equipped to carry out their roles efficiently.
  • Certificate of Attendance and Open Discussion
    The meeting concluded with a final open discussion, where partners reflected on the two days of collaboration, shared final thoughts, and received certificates of attendance. This session highlighted the consortium’s shared commitment to the GROWTH project’s success.
